MLB trade deadline has passed, and not much question the big prize was Zack Greinke going to the Astros. Might be a long term gamble based on Greinke's contract and advancing age. But that matters little if Houston captures another World Series title this season, and they're now the favorite to do exactly that. Obviously, anything can happen in a short ...
Quickie this morning as I'm working against the clock. I split last night. Easy winner on the F5 Under between the Twins and Marlins. Somewhat aggravating loser on the Red Sox, but aren't they all? Involved with three games today, here's one of them.
RAYS at RED SOX
Take: RED SOX -1 (split the ML and RL)
College football season package is now available. I don't feel any need to hype myself here as the numbers over the years in college football pretty much speak for themselves, and last season was extremely pleasant. My first selection has already been sent out and there will be several more to come for Week One. Sigh up using the menu to the right of the ...
I enjoyed a day off Friday as far as the wagering was concerned. Well, sort of. I did play a CFL game that goes tonight and my first Week One college football game, a matchup I like quite a bit.
As for that one CFL contest, I'll post it here as a daily free play. Good luck!
SASKATCHEWAN AT BC
Take: BC +2.5
Okay Wednesday here, with three of my four plays getting to the winner's circle. The miss was a little expensive as the Rangers lost the F5 at Seattle, but the others all came through, so it was a profitable day.I've got just one play today, and will post it here. Note that unless a game fits one of the angles I utilize, I'm only playing F5 innings. No ...
A remarkably bizarre 1-1 split for me on Tuesday. I should have won the Pirates F5 play, and should have lost the Yankees selection. Instead, the Bucs blew a very quick 3-0 lead and the F5 went down when Pittsburgh blew a bases loaded, no out scenario in the fifth inning. The flip side is I probably had no business winning the Yankees. They were down big ...
A bit more in depth with the daily free play analysis today. My Monday was a split on two F5 plays, winning with Seattle and not coming close with the Marlins. Here's the comp for today, Good luck if you're playing along.
CARDINALS (Hudson) at PIRATES (Archer)
Take: PIRATES F5 -125
I like the Pirates some in this spot, but have a clear ...
Nice little 2-0 sweep on Sunday with the Braves winning easily and the daily free play on the Giants winning on a Yaz walkoff homer.
I'm on a pair of F5 plays tonight, and here's one of them.
MARLINS (Richards) at WHITE SOX (Nova)
Take: MARLINS F5 +105
Let's wrap up the week on a winning nite. My Saturday baseball managed a small overall profit of roughly +0.8 units thanks to the exciting rally by Oakland. I did give that back with a disappointing showing by the CFL Eskimos. Here's the comp for Sunday.
METS (Matz) at GIANTS (Menez)
Take: GIANTS -120
The Giants finally lost one yesterday but I ...
Time constraints in play today. Just the daily free play. Back with another one tomorrow.
Take: TIGERS F5/9 split +110: Half unit on the Tigers each way. Good luck!
Only time to toss out a free play for tonight.
NATIONALS -120 (Corbin-Teheran)
My favorite golf tournament of the year is here. I'm a huge fan of the British Open, or the Open Championship if you prefer. It's a chance to see the best players in the world often have to struggle with difficult weather, and you just can't beat the tradition.
So I'll toss out my four-pack of golfers for this edition. No argument with anyone on Rory or ...
