Cokin’s Corner, Sunday 3/3/19

  • March 2, 2019

One thing I’ll say about Saturdays when it comes to following the results and watching as much action as possible. They’re long to be sure, but they’re rarely short on entertainment.

And it’s about to get even better, as we’re closing in on there start of the conference tournaments in college basketball. Aside from the task of trying to pick winners, and sweating those results, it’s a great couple of weekends to be a fan. Let’s hope this start to March Madness delivers as it usually does on that count.

My Saturday was acceptable. I went very thin in hoops and only earned a split on San Diego State and Washington State. Fortunately, the NHL Arizona Coyotes were a -1 winner, which yielded a nice return and got me a decent profit for the day.

Sunday will be thin once again in college basketball as I’m only considering a few games and won’t likely play all of those. One of the possibles is this daily free play.

Tough times for the Cardinals lately, and they could really use a convincing win for their psyche. Poor shooting Notre Dame might be the antidote for their recent ailments. This number seems short to me as I expected something more along the lines of Louisville -12. At -9, at least a lean to the Cardinals.
