Cokin’s Corner, Sunday 6/9/19

Game Six between the Bruins and Blues tonight with St. Louis positioned to win its first ever Stanley Cup.

The Blues have some edges here. They’re a little healthier and I wouldn’t rule out a mental edge with the Bruins perhaps still frustrated with the Game Five officiating.

But my lean is with Boston. I still believe they’re the better hockey team and there’s no question they were the superior side in that most recent game. That was the first game in this series that the better team did not win, as the side that controlled the action was the winner in each of the first four games.

This is not a strong opinion for me, just a lean. But at the price being offered, I would tend to side with the Bruins to get the win and force a Game Seven back in Boston.
