Cokin’s Corner, Thursday 8/22/19

  • August 21, 2019

Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. A prime example took place for me on Wednesday evening as the Mets rallied from a 3-2 tenth inning deficit to steal a 4-3 win over the Indians. This game probably should have finished 3-2 Tribe, but pitcher Brad Hand didn’t cover first on what likely would have been a 3-6-1 DP to close out the proceedings. That allowed the tying run to score and the Mets won it a couple batters later.

The Mets were my only Wednesday play, so it was another good night. I’ll probably have one big league game on Thursday and I’m on a pair of NFLX Week Three games (4-1 so far).

Here’s one of those plays that I’ll use as today’s comp. Also, note I have none colleges set for next week. All my selections are included with the package purchase available at Cokin’s Picks on this page. Or for those looking for just one play, you can buy the Virginia-Pittsburgh call by itself.
