Cokin’s Corner, Tuesday 3/26/19

  • March 25, 2019

One of the perks of being one’s own boss, at least for the most part, is that I get to call my own shots. Since I really don’t have much to write about tonight, I will exercise that option and will simply post the Monday recap and a free opinion for Tuesday.

2-0 Monday as a nice current roll was maintained. Longwood hung tough with DePaul to cover the number by a decent margin in whatever tournament those teams are playing in. The Nashville Predators were thoroughly unimpressive at Minnesota. But a shorthanded goal very early in the game held up as the Predators won an excruciatingly dull 1-0 decision against the Wild.

FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL at GREEN BAY

There are five college tournament games on Tuesday. Chances are I’ll be passing. But here’s an opinion on what might be the most entertaining matchup on the slate.

Take: GREEN BAY -14

This will be played at a breakneck pace. Defense is mostly a foreign concept to both teams. So my thought is that the better shooting team wins out. In this case, that’s Green Bay. So if you’re looking for a little Tuesday night hoop action, consider Green Bay as a smallish home favorite.
