Cokin’s Corner, Wednesday 6/5/19
My craziest game of the season took place on Tuesday night. I had the Orioles as my only selection, and it looked like a Baltimore winner with no real sweat. The Birds jumped out to a 4-0 lead and by the time the ninth inning rolled around, Baltimore had expanded its lead to 12-5. But you never really know with that awful Orioles bullpen. That opinion was borne out in a big way last night. The Rangers walked and hit their way right back into it, and when the dust finally settled, I had barely escaped with a 12-11 Baltimore victory. In any event, nice winner and on to Wednesday.
I’ve yet to decide on any MLB plays as I’m continuing to try and get lineup info before proceeding. So, for the daily free play, an opinion on tonight’s Game Three between Toronto and Golden State, Note this just an opinion and not a play. No question the Warriors are a super tough nut at home. But this Golden State team has some legitimate injury concerns and I think the depth could be a real factor here.
